(1) The election of the chairman will be held on the appointed day and the notice thereof will be published by the general secretary. (2) In the program published as per sub-rule (1) within the prescribed time, a member shall give a notice of proposal to the general secretary in the format as per schedule-1 that another member be elected to the post of chairman. (3) ) After the notice of the proposal according to sub-rule (2) is presented in the meeting by the proposing member, the supporting member will support it. If only one notice of such proposal is received, after the supporting member has spoken, the person presiding shall announce that the proposed member has been elected to the position of chairman unopposed. After the completion of the procedure, there will be a brief discussion on all the proposals and then the presiding officer will present all the proposals for decision. The member proposed in the proposal shall be deemed to have been elected to the post of chairman and the rest of the proposals shall not be presented for decision. The member will preside over the meeting on that day. (8) If the post of chairman becomes vacant for any reason, it will be filled by election in accordance with the procedures mentioned in this rule.
